In fact, at IBM Digital Asset Labs, Nitin crafted IBM’s go-to-market strategy, service delivery, and product approach that generated $60M to $70M of global revenue every year for 5 years.
Tapped to helm the IBM Blockchain Labs, Nitin devised a robust blockchain solution suitable for large, enterprise customers in regulated industries. Tasked with addressing the fragmented blockchain landscape, Nitin successfully forged an enterprise-ready blockchain strategy. And as a result, developed powerful engagement models that integrated the blockchain technology stack, services, and regulations.
Previously, as the CTO for IBM World Wire, Nitin shaped the world class cross-border payment network into a leading solution that encapsulated complex global regulations, industry standards, compliance requirements, and open banking. Thanks to Nitin’s dynamic leadership, the initiative delivered $22M to $30M in global revenue every year for ten years.
In 2014, Nitin explored the mobile payments space for IBM as the CTO of IBM Mobile Payments and IBM Cloud. With the goal of positioning IBM as an influential player in this rapidly changing market, Nitin led the design and development of the IBM Mobile Payment Solutions strategy that benefited IBM stakeholders such as retailers, banks, point-of-sale system developers, Visa, and MasterCard.
Nitin’s vast knowledge and experience within digital currency, central banks, digital finance, financial technology, regulatory technology and decentralized finance uniquely qualifies him to devise world class digital assets regulatory and compliance frameworks.

Nitin holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Maryland.
